go back to the FAQ navigation links

How do I know what the status of my transfer is?

The transfer status appears on the Transfer History page. If the transfer is being processed normally, you see the confirmation number automatically assigned to it. If the transfer has been canceled, you see the status of the transfer.

Status Description
Pending The transfer is scheduled but has not been processed yet.
Processing The transfer has started processing.
Processed The transfer has been processed.
Canceled You canceled this transfer.

View Detail

To review more information about the transfer, click View Detail. The Transfer Detail page shows the status of transfers that have been processed and provides a Cancel link if the transfer has not started processing.

Processed indicates the transfer was completed and sent to your financial institution on the transfer date. Transfers are typically deposited in your To account on the transfer date. Transfers may be delayed three business days depending on the transfer amount or five business days depending on the selected From account.

What if I find a mistake with my transfer?

If the transfer has not started processing, you can cancel it and transfer the money again.

If the transfer has already been processed, contact your financial institution. If the problem still isn't resolved, you can send us a transfer inquiry. Find the transfer on the Transfer History page, click View Detail, and then click the Transfer Inquiry link. Select a reason for the inquiry and provide any additional information that might be helpful in the Additional Comments box. The more details you provide, the better we can assist you. We contact your financial institution on your behalf in an attempt to resolve the problem.

Note: You can only submit an inquiry on a transfer processed within the past six months.

How long is my transfer history stored?

You can review your account transfers for the past 24 months on the Transfer History page.

Note: You may not have 24 months of transfer history available in Account to Account Transfer yet. The ability to store 24 months of transfer history is a recent feature of Account to Account Transfer, so it may take some time to accumulate 24 months of transfer history.

The initial view of the Transfer History page includes all of your transfers that fall within one month in the past to one year in the future. If you can't find a particular transfer, you can enter a date range and refresh the page to change the information that appears.
